Custom Solutions for Gearheads

I have been an engineer for over 30 years. I have been a gearhead as long as I can remember. As a kid it was ugrading my BMX and lacing on a new rim when after I bent it. Once I turned 16 projects mostly revolved around 4 wheel vehicles. Early on that meant simple maintenance like a new clutch in my Triumph Spitfire. Later it was lifting a few Jeeps and similar vehicles. I even built a Formula First race car from scratch. Onfortunately I sold that before I drove it. There has been the occasional motorcycle also. I once bought a Ducati partially because I was curious about the unique Desmo valve system.

Over the years the tools have got cooler allowing the projects to get more interesting. In addition to the standard tools, a CNC plasma cutter, 3D printer, 3D scanner along with years of experience allow me to fabricate things that were almost impossible just a few years back.

On this site I will track projects using these new technologies. Let me know if you have questions. I am eager to help and encourage fellow gearheads. Or If you are looking for someone that can do work for you, let me know also. Maybe I can help. If not there is a good chance I know someone who can.
